When you order a Russian Visa Support letter online with us, it is important to be note the following:
1. Tourist Visa Support Letter for Russia.
This document is sent to you as a scanned document by email.
This document is sent to you the same* or next working day (*same working day if received before 10.00 am UK time). UK and Russian Public Holidays are not working days.
Please note that the Visa Support Letter in some Russian Consulates is referred to as a Tourist Acceptance Letter – they are in fact the same document.
Please note that we can provide a Tourist Visa Support Letter for all of the nationalities listed on our drop-down menu – other nationalities may obtain a Visa Support Letter but supplements may apply. There are certain nationalities for which we are not authorised to provide a Tourist Visa Support Letter. Please email us if you wish to check the availability and cost if your own nationality is not on our list – visas@aslatravelgroup.com
Please note that certain Russian Consulates may require an original Visa Support Letter (eg India) rather than a scanned copy – in such cases, we can courier this to you for an additional fee.
When we send your Visa Support Letter, we send full notes as to how to register your visa when you arrive in Russia.
2. Business Visa Support for Russia.
This is sent directly to the Russian Consulate indicated in your request. A notification will be sent to you by email.
Our standard processing time for a Business Visa Support Letter is 30 calendar days, provided that we receive the application by 10.00hrs in our UK office on a working day. Fast-track service is from 13 working days.
A scanned copy of your passport is required for all business visa support types. You can upload this whilst completing the application form, or email to us separately.
3. Multi-Entry One Year Business Visa Support for Russia.
Multi-Entry One-Year Business Visa support letters are the preferred choice of regular travellers to Russia.
Once you receive your Visa support letter, you need to proceed to apply for your visa at your local Russian Consulate – please check the application process, the costs and timescales with them .
A scanned copy of your passport is required for all business visa support types. You can upload this whilst completing the application form, or email to us separately.
4. Other visa types
Please ask if you require other visa types.
n.b. We cannot provide support for Private Visit visas.
5. A Visa Support Letter is NOT a Russian visa
A Visa Support Letter is the document that you need to submit with your application for a Russian Tourist or Business visa. Check with your local Russian Consulate for full details of prices, timescales and Public Holidays before booking flights. Russian Consulates normally do not work on Russian Public Holidays and do not usually observe local national Public Holidays.
Do not attempt to travel without a visa.
