The ASLA Travel Group was established in May 1991 with the primary aim of servicing the requirements of tour operators seeking a reliable supplier of hotel accommodation, inclusive land tours, river cruises, shore excursions and ancillary travel services inside Russia, Ukraine and the states of the C.I.S. The objective of the group is to provide the highest standards of service throughout the region, together with efficient, reliable and professional levels of operations. In fact ASLA were pioneers in combining the warm welcome of the Russian culture with Western service levels.

Increasing customer satisfaction has ensured rapid growth since the formation of the group and a continued commitment to quality predicts a successful future for the organisation.

The head office of ASLA Travel Group is located in Huntingdon, England and serves as a sales and operational base, providing easy access and reliable communications, using the latest technology, for tour operator and travel agency partners around the world.

We have successfully established a network of associated offices throughout the world. In Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kiev, we provide ground services for our inbound business. All these offices have made significant progress in generating and promoting outbound travel, for which there is an increasing level of demand, following 70 years of severe travel restrictions for both business and leisure purposes.

Our local offices are fully licensed and accredited with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and we are recognised by most overseas Ukrainian and Russian Consulates.

Our Kiev office, Arktur Ltd - a British Ukrainian joint venture is now considered one of the leading inbound tour operators in Ukraine, supported by offices in Odessa and Yalta. Further associated companies are located in New York USA, New Jersey USA, the Netherlands, and Johannesburg, South Africa. We have dedicated visa services in the United Kingdom and in the USA and also have our own translation service available to our clients.

In the absence of official Offices of Tourism for Russia and Ukraine, ASLA Travel Group fulfills a role to provide information to the industry and organises media and travel industry visits, in conjunction with hotels and airlines.

The ASLA group of companies currently consists of 70 permanent members of staff. This comprises British graduates in Russian from major British Universities, key Russian personnel fluent in English and other European languages and who are well versed in tourism and the operation of varied programmes. The Chairman of the group of companies has a unique experience in the field of tourism in Eastern Europe and is a language graduate.
